Kris Jenner Opens Up About Her Upcoming Ovarian Surgery
US reality TV icon Kris Jenner recently shared heartfelt news about her upcoming ovarian surgery. In a candid moment on “The Kardashians,” Jenner revealed her plans to undergo the procedure following the discovery of a cyst and a tumor by her doctors.
During a vacation in Aspen, Colorado, with her partner Corey Gamble, Jenner took a moment to inform her daughters—Kendall, Kim, and Khloé Kardashian—about her health update. “I have something to tell you all. I went for a scan, and it turns out they found a cyst and a small tumor on my ovary,” she explained, visibly emotional.
“My doctor advised that I need to have my ovaries removed,” she continued. “It’s an emotional time for me because my ovaries played such a crucial role in bringing you all into this world. It’s also a stark reminder of aging and the closing of a significant chapter in my life.”
Jenner, who is a mother of six, has four children—Kim, Khloé, Kourtney, and Rob—with her late ex-husband Robert Kardashian, and two daughters—Kendall and Kylie—with her former spouse Caitlyn Jenner. Reflecting on her life, Kris expressed that her greatest joy has been raising her children. “When people ask me about my most rewarding job, I always say being a mom,” she shared. “The biggest blessing of my life has been giving birth to my six wonderful kids.”
