Diddy Faces Fresh Sexual Assault Allegations
Renowned rapper and music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing new sexual assault allegations, with former porn star Adria English recently filing a complaint against him in New York. This is the latest in a series of legal troubles for Combs, who has been the subject of multiple lawsuits in recent months.
Despite these allegations, Combs has consistently denied all accusations of sexual assault and physical abuse, including those brought forward by English. According to NBC News, Combs is now also under a federal criminal investigation, although there is no indication that charges are imminent.
Combs’s legal challenges have been mounting, particularly after ex-girlfriend Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura made accusations against him last November. Earlier this year, Combs issued an apology after footage surfaced showing him attacking Ventura in a hotel hallway in 2016.
In her complaint, English alleges that Combs “forced and coerced” her into sex work at parties, threatening to destroy her career if she did not comply. The 114-page filing includes 33 allegations against Combs and his associates, detailing incidents that reportedly occurred between 2004 and 2009.
Combs’s lawyer has responded to the claims, stating, “No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone. Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail against these and other baseless claims in court.”
Adria English joins a growing list of women who have made accusations against Combs recently. Last November, Combs settled a lawsuit with Ventura, who had accused him of rape and sex trafficking over a span of a decade. His legal team clarified that the settlement was not an admission of guilt.
Additionally, Combs’s residences in Los Angeles and Miami were raided earlier this year as part of a federal investigation into human trafficking. NBC News reports that Combs has been informed he is a subject of this ongoing investigation, though specific details have not been disclosed. Federal officials and Combs’s legal team have yet to comment further on the investigation.
